RECORDS FOR ART:

Frankly, I'm not in his business for the money.  To date, I think I've made about negative $30,000.  I guess you could say fiscal  dividends just aren't my highest priority.  On the other hand, supporting growth in the arts and keeping the barter system alive and well in our society are fairly high on my list of priorities.  Below are some pictures from various artists that I have obtained in exchange for records.  (I'm ALWAYS willing to discuss such trades, so if you're interested, drop me an email at kentexas@evilempirerecords.com)

Johnny Scumface/Rat Tail Flyers:

I'm not sure I remember which records I gave to Johnny in exchange for these.  I'm thinking some old Cynics 45s, but I could be wrong.  At one point we were going to cooperate on a web comic based on Evil Empire Records and the Swami character, but we were both too busy to make it come to fruition.  Anyways, I'm super appreciative of what he was able to do for me!

Donovan Roth/Smashy:

Donovan and I have swapped so much stuff back and forth over the years that it's hard for me to pin down what exactly I traded for these spiffy "Robot Vs. Werewolf" themed posters done on paper with mixed media(?) I think this particular trade involved bootleg Black Flag 45s.

Hip Nick Creature:

I gave a Nick a Sweet Pic Sleeve 45  for a signed print of this flyer he did back in the day.  Not only is it a great piece, but it stands out in my mind as one of the few shows from my drinking days that was good enough to remember!

(I should say.  Sweet the band, not "Sweet!" the Wayne & Garth interjection)

Check out Nick's portfolio album in his myspace pics!
